Lekalao is an e-mail platform for teams who want to write to their subscribers without depending on a tool they cannot see into. You keep your contacts, you choose the provider that sends (Amazon SES, Postmark, Mailgun, SendGrid, Brevo, Resend or plain SMTP), and Lekalao does the rest: lawful subscriptions, sending at the right pace, tracking, bounces, statistics.

From the sending provider to the first campaign, step by step.

The ideas

Team, list, subscriber, segment, campaign, automation: what each word covers.

Developers

A complete REST API, signed webhooks, a Laravel transport and an SMTP relay.

Self-hosting

Install, run and upgrade Lekalao on your own servers.

What Lekalao does

Lists with double opt-in, subscribers enriched with attributes and tags, segments built from conditions (tags, attributes, language, opens, clicks, engagement…), CSV and Excel import and export, a suppression list per team, and subscription forms to put on your own site.
Four editors (visual blocks, Markdown, HTML, MJML), templates with editable areas, personalisation variables with conditions and loops, a team brand, a media library, saved blocks and translated versions in every language.
Sending now or later, A/B tests of up to five versions, spreading the send, each subscriber’s local time, detailed statistics (click map, software, devices, countries, revenue) and campaigns created automatically from an RSS feed.
Journeys triggered by a subscription, a tag, a date or an API call, with waits, conditions, A/B splits, waiting for events, goals and early exits.
Templates your applications call, a full log with resending, and three ways to send them: the API, the Laravel transport or the SMTP relay.
SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks, your own tracking domain, bounce and complaint handling, a campaign that goes wrong paused on its own, a consent record, the right of access and the right to be forgotten.
