The creation panel

Campaigns → New campaign (or K then “New campaign”). Create the campaign opens its Content tab. Everything stays changeable until it is sent.

A campaign’s tabs

At the top right: Duplicate (copies the campaign as a draft, content and settings included) and Delete (not while it sends).

The settings

The Settings tab, saved with Save the settings.

Campaign

text
required
list
required
segment
Everyone on the list, or a segment of that list. The segments of another list appear once the change of list is saved.

Sender

e-mail
Empty: the list’s own, then the application’s. On a shared installation it has to belong to a verified domain.
text
e-mail
Where your readers’ replies land.
The section header says which provider the campaign will leave through.

Tracking

boolean
default:"true"
Adds an invisible pixel. Without it, there is no open rate and no “opened” segment.
boolean
default:"true"
Rewrites the links so that they go through Lekalao before their destination. Without it, there is no click map.
text
Added to every link so that your web statistics credit the visits to the campaign: utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=christmas-2026.
When you have verified a tracking domain (click.your-domain.com), the tracked links and the pixel use it instead of Lekalao’s own address: better deliverability, and links that carry your name. See Sending domains.

A/B test

See A/B tests.

Sending pace

minutes
default:"0"
Spreads the e-mails evenly over the time you choose (up to 7 days). At zero, everything leaves at once, at the provider’s pace. Mailboxes trust a steady sender more than one that empties a list in one go.
boolean and hour
Each subscriber receives the e-mail at the chosen hour of their own day, going by their time zone (failing that the list’s, failing that the application’s). A campaign started on Monday at 15:00 “at 9:00 local time” leaves on Tuesday at 9:00 in Douala, Tuesday at 9:00 in Paris, and so on. Spreading starts from that hour.
The list’s sending hours add to this: an e-mail that would fall outside the window waits for it to open again.
