Where it is offered
The empty pages offer it too: Start from a layout on an empty template list, Start from a starter e-mail on an empty campaign list and an empty list of automation e-mails.
Five layouts
Each one carries, in its footer, the unsubscribe link, the preferences link and your postal address: a campaign poured into it is in order with nobody having to remember. Each is built from tables, so Outlook reads it as well as Apple Mail; its columns stack on a phone, and its colours are written for dark mode too.
Create the template saves it, under the layout’s name unless you give another, and opens it in the HTML editor. It is yours from then on: change what you like, then choose it for a campaign.
Your brand, copied once
A layout takes the brand when you create the template: your colours, typefaces and logo are written into its HTML. A brand colour that would be too pale to read is darkened until it reads (a contrast of 4.5:1), and keeps its hue. Changing the brand afterwards does not change that template. Edit its HTML, or create the template again from the gallery. The words of the footer (“You receive this e-mail because…”, Your preferences, Unsubscribe) are written in the language of your interface at that moment.Eight starter e-mails
The last three come first when you create an automation e-mail.
A starter e-mail is written in Visual blocks: while one is chosen, the panel does not ask for an editor. The e-mail opens ready, with its name and its subject unless you typed your own: “The e-mail is written. Put in your own words, links and pictures, then send yourself a test.”
Most of its buttons have no address yet, since only you know it. In a campaign, Check for readers points out each one before you send. See Preview and checks.
In which language
The thumbnails of the campaign panel follow the list chosen above them. For the other languages of your readers, add translations.
